PERSONS NOT LIABLE UNDER THE INDIAN PENAL CODE
There are a few privileged classes of persons who are not liable to be punished under the Indian Penal code, they are ,
1)The President and the Governor of the state – Article 361 of the Indian constitution the President and the Governors of the states are exempted from civil and criminal proceedings .
2)A Foreign Soverign cannot be punished under the code according to rule of international Law .
3)An Ambassador and their family is provided with diplomatic immunity he can not be punished as per Indian Penal code .
4)Alien Enemies,Foreign Army and Warship are exempt from the code .
